Baptism

One of the two sacraments in the Episcopal Church, Baptism is a first step toward a life in
Christ at St. Mary’s, whether for infants, older children, or adults who have not
been previously baptized in a Christian denomination.

If you are interested in a baptism, whether for yourself or for a child or infant, please contact
the Rector (priest). She will want to have a conversation with you in person and do some
education before the actual service, to make sure you and older children understand what
our baptism is about.

During an actual service of baptism, those who are newly baptized are welcomed by the
congregation of St. Mary’s.
