Acolytes

Open to people of all ages in the church, the acolytes serve in procession and at the altar during the services of the church. While some training and practice is required, girls and boys, men and women serve as crucifers (cross-bearers), torch bearers, Gospel book-bearers and Servers at the Eucharist, progressing through training to increasing responsibility.

A highly valued part of the worship at St. Mary’s, the acolytes are an invaluable part of our Sunday Servant crew.
