Who We Are as a Congregation
Saint Mary's is a community of Christian disciples dedicated to our mission of "Reaching Out." This reflects our very deep commitment to Outreach as one of our core values. We also cherish the strong sense of family within our parish, the joy of spending meaningful time together, and the beauty of our Episcopal liturgical worship. Join us as we grow in faith, support one another, and share God's love with the world!
Outreach
At Saint Mary's, "Reaching Out" is at the heart of our mission. We are deeply committed to serving our community in meaningful ways. Our outreach efforts focus on feeding the hungry, assisting those experiencing homelessness, supporting education in our local community, partnering with Christians in Haiti, and ministering to those in prison. Family Fellowship
At Saint Mary's, we love spending time together! Our church family gathers for a variety of social events throughout the year, often centered around food and fun. Some of our favorite traditions include our Easter Brunch, Pentecost Picnic, Ministry Fair, Celebration of Hope for Haiti, Halloween Trunk or Treat, Christmas Party, Karaoke Nights, Trivia Nights, and our Coffee Hour.
Worship
Worship at Saint Mary's is rooted in the rich traditions of the Episcopal Church, which traces its liturgical heritage back to the Church of England in the 1500s. While our services honor these traditions, we also embrace language and elements that make worship meaningful for today's congregation.
Our services blend the structure and depth of Roman Catholic liturgy with the accessibility of Protestant worship, creating a balance that welcomes people from all church backgrounds. At Saint Mary's, we are committed to worship that reflects the "beauty of holiness," expressed through prayer, scripture, music, and sacred silence.
No matter where you are on your faith journey, you'll find a place of worship, community, and belonging at Saint Mary's.

"The Episcopal Church has common ground with so many Christian denominations, with a good blend of traditions and customs that help people feel comfortable, no matter what their background. St. Mary's is a great place to share faith together, worship and grow as Christians. St. Mary's is the most welcoming congregation I have ever encountered. Dress code ranges from blue jeans and athletic shoes to Sunday best dresses or suits and ties. This might seem superficial, but this is indicative of the fact that St. Mary's embraces and celebrates the diversity of its members and welcomes people from many different paths."
"Sermons at St. Mary's are different—they're dynamic, short and to the point. They are throught provoking and speak to us individually. They are applicable and appeal to all listeners, from youth to seniors. We all benefit from them. Based on Scripture, there is always something we can take home with us."
"St. Mary's is an active and vibrant congregation, with many opportunities during the year to get together as a group for fun things. Easter is a joyous time. Our Pentecost Picnic is for the entire family with games for kids and many different kinds of food from our diverse congregation. In October, we have a Halloween festival with lots of community involvement. We celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ with Christmas celebrations and parties for kids and adults. On Sunday mornings after the service, we welcome you to join us for Coffee Hour with refreshments. St. Mary's is a great place to be, and it's a great time to join us!"
Episcopalians are passionate about proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in our words and actions.
